Millennium Consulting has a zero tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to having effective systems and controls in place to safeguard against any form of modern slavery or human trafficking taking place within our business, in our relationships with our business partners and clients or in our supply chains.

In addition, our Staff Handbook contains sections on standards of performance and behaviour at
work, and the importance of valuing diversity and dignity at work.
We have a policy of zero tolerance of abuse, assault or other threatening behaviour.
This is further evidenced in the Millennium Code of Business Conduct which sets out the responsibilities of those who work for or on behalf of the company and demonstrates Millennium’s commitment to operating in an honest, lawful, moral and ethical manner across all the company’s business affairs.
Similarly the Millennium Supplier Code of Conduct sets out the conduct we expect from organisations who supply goods or services to Millennium or have any form of business relationship with the company. This includes reference to compliance in respect of Modern Slavery legislation.

Millennium is committed to the principles of the Modern Slavery Act and the abolition of all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking.
We are committed to adopting, maintaining and improving practices that ensure that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or any other part of our business.
We aim to ensure that these values are upheld in all our business dealings and relationships. We aim to identify any area of our operations where there could be a potential risk of modern slavery or human trafficking.
Our recruitment and people management processes are designed to ensure that all prospective employees are legally entitled to work in the UK and to safeguard all who work for us from any form of abuse or coercion. We will not enter into business with any organisation in the UK or abroad, which knowingly supports or is found to be involved in slavery,servitude and forced or compulsory labour.
Whilst Millennium does not undertake activities that are considered to be at a high risk of being linked with slavery or human trafficking , we take very seriously the need to identify and respond to any such incidents. Our supply chains are limited and we procure goods and services from a limited number of UK and overseas suppliers, who are also not likely to considered of high level risks to slavery or human trafficking.
We will continue to embed the principles stated in this commitment by providing awareness training to all staff on the Modern Slavery Act and informing them of the appropriate action that should be taken if they suspect a case of modern slavery or human trafficking.
