The Millennium Raising Futures KenyaGolf Day
£5,000 raised for Raising Futures Kenya
On Friday 6th June 2025 the annual Millennium Raising Futures Kenya Golf Day took place at Woldingham Golf Club in Surrey. Despite a slightly damp and overcast start to the day, spirits were high as 40 players assembled for a competitive and thoroughly enjoyable day of golf whilst supporting a wonderful cause.
After the golf, the players gathered for post-round drinks and dinner, which was followed by an update from Leela Shanti of Raising Futures Kenya, who shared news and moving stories about the charity’s incredible impact in Kenya. She explained how the funds raised from Millennium’s golf event directly support many young people in Kenya, helping them build brighter, more secure futures through training and the creation of new life opportunities.
Afterwards there was with laughter and excitement with a lively game of Heads and Tails which was followed by a raffle and prize giving and all contributed to a fantastic fundraising total.
A huge word of thank you goes to our generous supporters and sponsors, including Icorp, Pleasant Land Distillery, Sene Valley Golf Club, Littlestone Golf Club, Florences, Wildwood, Kathmandu, Woldingham Golf Club, Lumos, The White Hart, The Gate Keeper and Tom Hill, whose support made the day possible.
Many thanks also to everyone who took part, donated or supported the day. With your help, the event was a great success both on and off the course.

Charity
Raising Futures Kenya
We firmly believe in our social responsibility to the wider community. That’s why, over the last 19 years, we have supported Raising Futures Kenya – a charity that breaks the cycle of inequality and creates opportunities for vulnerable children and young people in Kenya.
Raising Futures Kenya is the charity working together with young people to create opportunities for rewarding futures. Without these opportunities, one in five young people in Kenya face living in poverty; unable to reach their potential.
